Hyperlaunch Acquires the Assets of Abstraktion
Hyperlaunch is pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets of Abstraktion, a digital agency known for its substantial portfolio of intellectual property and extensive work with high-profile clients across various industries. Although Abstraktion has not been active recently, it amassed an impressive array of codebases and digital products through its projects for a diverse set of clients.
Abstraktion delivered projects for some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Universal, Sony, Warner, Domino, and Spotify. In the pharmaceutical sector, they provided solutions for Shire, Roche, and Boehringer Ingelheim, and in technology, they worked with Nokia, Sage, Toyota, and Google. In sports, they worked with organizations such as the WSA World Tour, English Table Tennis, Sport England, David Lloyd, and Fred Perry. Their broadcast work included collaborations with Aardman, the BBC, Channel 4, and Turner, while in publishing, they developed projects for The Telegraph and Future Publishing.
One notable achievement of Abstraktion was the development of Beatroot, a music tech startup that provided a platform for organizing and monetizing music catalogs. Beatroot was seed-funded by Universal Music and later acquired by Made in Memphis.
By acquiring Abstraktion’s assets, Hyperlaunch gains access to a wealth of intellectual property and extensive R&D that will help accelerate our client projects. We are excited to integrate these resources and continue delivering high-quality solutions across a range of industries.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward with this new chapter!
